Work in Progress from My Studio

Bold, geometric portraits – stitched in yarn. Structured shapes meet soft textures in my ongoing punch needle series.
Geometric Yarn is my textile series, created with punch needle – a technique I began exploring in February 2025.
It's my way of translating the bold shapes and strong lines from my acrylic paintings into something tactile and soft. The work is slow and rhythmic, built stitch by stitch, yet it carries the same structured geometry that defines my style.
I often work on the floor at home, with my two daughters playing nearby. This series is shaped by that everyday rhythm – and by the people who inspire me: teachers, neighbours, bus drivers, friends. The extraordinary in the ordinary.
Each piece tells a story about identity, neurodivergence, motherhood, and the quiet poetry of daily life – captured in colour, texture, and form.
